RunCheetahRun
I've been NC with my recent ex (who left me for someone else) for ~2-3 months and now he has out of the blue, as if nothing ever happened, asked to take me out for my birthday. Is this appropriate? I can't decide if this is to ease his guilt or if it is a way for him to try to talk to me (as I've ignored all previous phone calls/emails) about other things? Opinions? RunCheetahRun
I'm not sure if he is still seeing the girl he left me for or not. But he had a mutual friend ask if I was single the day before he approached me..... Link to comment
vertigoxo
He left you for someone else? Unacceptable. Can you ever really trust him again? I doubt it. In the end, it's your choice, but realize that he can very easily leave you again if you let him back in. Link to comment
TearsofFate
If he asked if you were single...I'd say he might be thinking of getting back together with you. Link to comment
RunCheetahRun
Any other thoughts or opinions? I told him I'd get back to him tomorrow....(not that he deserves for me to keep my word, but I don't believe that two wrongs make a right..) I did think that by inquiring about my dating status he may have an interest in trying to reconcile because I've heard he has commitment issues and really cared for me but thought things were getting too serious and he left. I don't know if I believe that or if I want to deal with dating someone who could leave at any moment... so difficult. Link to comment
