Seraphim
My husband has to have surgery, AGAIN. It happens next Monday. It is unrelated to the last issue, but it is another general anesthetic in about a month. It sounds crazy that the surgeon can not wait because it is not a life threatening issue. Why not give time between the two anesthetics. I am pretty sure having them close together is not good, even if he is a very healthy person. Link to comment
Theblueman123
I thought they wear off in a few days? Link to comment
norsewoman
Perhaps you can talk his surgeon into waiting a bit? I am in agreement with you, general anesthesia is a trauma, and it's best to give some time in between surgeries. Keep us posted, Victoria... Link to comment
Seraphim
Previous anesthetics are considered, when being operated on. Link to comment

He did mention it to the surgeon that he had one operation under general a month ago. Surgery always has the risk of death even if it small. He has had 4 surgeries in 3 years and he has had them before. Plus he has had between 5 to 7 concussions. Link to comment
