Met girl at party

So saturday night i met this girl at my friends party, and she was real cool,not to mention pretty nice lookin. I spoke with her for about half an hour and we exchanged numbers. I'd like to get to know her more, what should my approach exactly be. I sent a text today like, "hey we met at my buddys house and wanted to say whats up fun night huh?"

Well, id just like to get to know her a lil more cause she was pretty cool when i was talking to her. Maybe a date and we'll see where things go from there.

Well, basically I think the two-way communication principle is important to keep in mind. Be attentive to what sort of replies she gives, and send some signals of your own. If you feel that the situation is relaxed enough to ask her out, DON'T!
