If I never had to buy a bra I can honestly say I doubt I'd have whipped out the measuring tape. KNowing how many inches around my chest is won't make it bigger or smaller, so what's the point? LOL

 

Bob, tell your g/f to get over herself already. Tell her she is equally as goofy for ASKING you the size. HOW ELSE were you going to answer that question if you never measured it? She seems a bit ridiculous.

My last ex was very well-endowed, and while he didn't play it up, he definitely seemed a bit quietly smug about it.

 

I thought it would be fun, as part of sex play, to measure him and see for myself (partly because it hurt me each time, and I kind of wanted to know just what a "trooper" I was, lol.) Mostly though, I just wanted to be able to worship him afterwards and crow with delight and make him feel good. (I already said things about it to make him feel like "the man".)

 

To my utter astonishment, he refused to be measured, even though I said it would be cool and fun -- and not only that, he told me he had never thought of measuring it. I was incredulous -- I was under the impression that not only do most men get curious at some point in their lives, but it was a no-brainer that a man this clearly well-endowed (with stories about random women commenting on it when he was clothed!) would have broken out the ruler. The wind was kinda taken out of my sails, let me tell you -- I thought this would just be something else to enjoy as part of the light-hearted delighting you take with your partner, and what man wouldn't want more praise for his package?

 

I really wanted to know why he felt the way he felt...had he had bad experiences? Did he feel objectified with this request of mine? I was mystified. I wanted to know about my man, and he just averted the whole thing, saying, "I don't know why, it's just not something I think about. I'll have to get back to you on that."

 

That was about the strangest, fishiest conversation I've ever had in bed with a lover. (And I believed then, as I believe now, that he was probably lying. For what reason, I haven't a clue.)

 

I was so mystified, that more than a year after our breakup, I posted a thread here much like this one, saying I thought all guys like to measure themselves at least out of curiosity, and if they are confident about their size, there would be absolutely ZERO hangup about this. I certainly had no intention of teasing him, and it was a loving moment. And I was even more shocked by the responses I got here, wherein a bunch of men -- and women -- started to jump on my case, saying no man wants to be treated like a piece of meat!

Why? I have a 24" ruler and a yardstick you can borrow. Don't use the yardstick though, it'll probably make you feel really inadequate.
