NibbleNutz
My wife had a 10+ year affair and two of my children were born during that time. I'm wondering if there is a way to do paternity testing without her finding out. Link to comment
annie24
probably. you don't need her DNA, just your chilldrens' DNA and yours. however, depending on where you live, you might still be considered the legal father because you are married to their mother and you have served as a father figure to them. i'm sorry to hear about the affair. avman
Yes, there is. You can do cheek swabs to get DNA samples and test it that way. There are also several other methods available. Contact a local lab and ask them about the options. There are also home testing kits available over the internet but I would be careful about the quality of the lab you choose. As Annie mentioned you only need your sample and your childrens. Link to comment
arcadefire
I'm quite sure there are labs that can keep confidentiality. And you don't need cheek swabs, I think you can just use your children's hair. Link to comment
