Celestialagape54
Mine would have to be Jane Austin because her novels are filled with love but they don't always have a happy ending for all the characters... Link to comment
metrogirl
Ann Rule..... She writes the most amazing true crime stories. Link to comment
FortunateOne
Frank Herbert is the best author to me. He created an intense universe that really ask you what the power of belief and coruption of such belief can have on your own mind. Link to comment
timetogrow
Mine will have to be Stephen King becaue he is unique in his profound literary skills. Link to comment
hers
Ken follet's stuff is amazing. He writes a lot of nazi-themed, WW2 stuff but I don't really read that. I love his other historical fiction stories like Pillars of the Earth and A Dangerous Fortune. Laurie Notaro is my favorite author otherwise. She writes about her life and she's hilarious. Her book "the idiot girl's action adventure club" is the funniest book ever. Link to comment
LightbulbSun
Mine will have to be Stephen King becaue he is unique in his profound literary skills. Mine too. I love Stephen. Michael Crichton is also a really good author, and Ray Bradbury. Really looking forward to the new Stephen King book. I've preordered it. Link to comment

girl friend
Torey Hayden. Books about her real life experiences as a psychologist with messed up kids in the classroom. Their resilience and strength of spirit and the love and courage that shines through those books will really put a smile on your faces. Link to comment
Sanesoul
Dean Koontz. I love the way he writes and his stories have so many different elements to them. Humor, Drama, Horror, Romance. It's all good. Link to comment

MaJoad
John Steinbeck-mostly for The Grapes of Wrath and East of Eden. The rest of his fine work is just gravy. He really has his finger on the pulse of the human condition. Link to comment
_Asti_
I like Jodi Picoult. She's one of the few authors that I tend to 'follow' in terms of waiting for a new release or her next book. Her story lines are just different, not your average everyday story. Link to comment
tina-rocks
Jenny Colgan is one of my favorites as she transports me back in time to when I was young... Link to comment
