papercranes1607306451 Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 I've been friends with "Milo" for two years now. I was attracted to him to last year and we hung out together fairly frequently. From various bits of information I've pieced together from mutual frineds, he was attracted to me at one point, but then he figured out, or maybe was told that I was attracted to him and he and I drifted for a month or so. Eventually we went back to being friends but nothing was ever said about the whole thing. Now we live in different cities but we've kept in touch and email fairly regularly. The problem is that I miss him. I'm still attracted to him and I'm worried that either I really do want him, or I'm just hiding behind something impossible so as to avoid relationships here. I will be moving back to the area around where he lives this May for work. The question is: now what? Do I forget it? Do I try and do something? If so, what? keeping in mind I'm somewhat timid when it comes to making a move. thanks so much
SwingFox Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 Hi Papercranes, Welcome to eNotalone.com and thank you posting your questions here. I hope that the members of this board will be helpful for you. As for me doing the kick-off on your post, I would like to ask you something. What would you want to happen? Do you have feelings for this guy? What kind of feelings are they? Romantic? Love? Another few questions you should start to ask yourself are: Am I ready for a relationship? What do I look for in a relationship? Could he offer that? If all that is clear to you, I would like to suggest you that if you feel confident enough that he might be able to offer what you are looking for, you start to talk to him again. Tell him that you still like him and that you are interested in him. Then ask him how he feels. Ask him what he looks for in a relationship and see if those things matches fairly well. I hope this helps you a bit on your way. I wish you good luck! ~ SwingFox ~
