But some women just smell either fishy, or as if something died inside of them. I absolutely refuse to go down on anyone like that and I'd pick one of either options depending on the girl. He was going to go down on a really hot girl he had been longing for but when he was about to go down on her, the odor was downright horrible. He tried to be nice about it and make an excuse to not continue but the girl actually insulted him. Link to comment

If you've never had one and have been checked out by a gyno, then your smell is probably not vile. I wouldn't worry if you shower on a regular basis. People are pretty crazy about BO. I want to avoid EVER getting an infection again, so was looking for tips on keeping it under control and smell free; well infection smell free, that is... It's a musky, "come hither" smell, not off putting, but their personal sexual odor. Don't confuse it with " just got home from the gym" smell. It's supposed to an aphrodisiac.... If a woman I was with didn't, it'd be a turn of, cuz I'm not turning them on. If it doesn't smell "right" then I'm not staying down there. One of my ex's had the sexiest scent/ taste. I would get so turned on by it that I could and did stay down there for hours. Everyone smells different, but everyone smells and some people care more about it than others. I had a friend in college who was a huge hippy. He used to camp and hike alot with his GF and used to take about how much he liked to go down on her after a long day of hiking. Eating lots of sugary fruits - like pineapples - is also a good idea. The food that you eat effects the smell that is down there often - eating lots of proteins or spices gives it a stronger pungent smell/flavor, sugary and watery fruits a milder, sweater one. If it does, you need to get down there and scrub with soap and water (which you should do in each shower anyway). Here's what I do if I know I'll be out all night wearing jeans or something that doesn't "breathe" and I know I'll be gettin some later. I shower as late as possible before going out (duh) and wash and shave, then I bring a couple of baby wipes in my purse for just before we hook up. Bottom line, it should never ever really stink. For women who are more prone to yeast infections (like me), these are actually TERRIBLE things to do...I've had doctors tell me that simply washing with water in the shower is enough to keep a woman clean (since vaginas clean themselves naturally), and that soap and anything scented in that region is a catalyst for infection... So, for those of us women who can't actually "scrub" and use baby wipes, we have to hope we simply smell good... Link to comment

I never really thought of that as being a bad thing, but I suppose it is... No smell is 1,000,000,000% better than a bad one. LOL) on the finger for you to smell. most of us have a faint smell. the guys can smell it when they go down on us. since theyd be pretttty close to the source~ lol Link to comment

A finger is definitely different than being all up in it, for sure. And just to clarify, I was never paranoid per se about not having any smell at all, I just always took it to be a good thing and then I came here and read how much guys love it, and I felt a bit....inadequate I guess would be the right word. Edit: And to clarify one other thing that I just realize prob makes me look like a freak (not the good kind lol), I don't actually smell his fingers after. I just like to suck on them, and you can't help but breathe through your nose when you do that, and I had never noticed any scent whatsoever.
