Seeing ex for the first time!

Well, it's not going to be a planned meeting... I'm going ballroom dancing with my friends tomorrow night, and I just found out that my ex is in town and is playing with the jazz band that's playing that night. But I am NOT going to let his presence ruin the night that I've had planned for weeks, so I'm going!!

 

I just don't know how I should act when I see him. Should I ignore him? Should I actively try to say hello to him? Should I wait for him to say hi to me? What should I do!?!?!?!

(PS - he cheated on me, I broke up with him, I have no intention of getting back together with him, or creating any kind of friendship either. But, that doesn't mean that I shouldn't be civil or cordial or something, right?)

I would say hello as casually as if you were bumping into your mail carrier. Then continue on and have FUN !!

Ignore him and look SUPER attractive.

 

He cheated on you. The time for being polite has ended!

If he speaks, speaks. I would be civil. You dont have to blatenly ignore him. Rise above his actions and show that you have moved on.

 

Also I would wear my best dress, dance, have fun and let him see you dont need him to be happy.
