winter whiteout Posted May 23, 2009 Share Posted May 23, 2009 Last week I was on one the free date sites and saw this man from my hometown who looked familiar. It turns out he is this man who one of my friends wanted me to meet this past winter. She is in the theatre and was in a show with this man who really wants to meet someone. She thought of me and but did not tell him about me because she did not want it to become an uncomfortable situation. They were having a lot of get togethers after the show was done (I was not able to go due to crisis at work) with the cast but either I was working or he was not going so I never met him and forgot about him until I saw him on this date site. I wrote to him Tuesday stating I love the theatre too and that I have a friend in the theatre and that I love to sing myself. I kept checking back and up until last night he was not online. But now he has not even read my email (it states that your email was unread, read or deleted) but when I clicked on to see who viewed my profile he was the last one to. This made me figure out that he viewed my profile and did not like what he saw so he decided to not even open my email. I guess that is a good way to make it seems like it was unread so he would not look like a jerk if he did open it and did not respond. Oh well. Live and learn some more! Link to comment

I know, but I'm just saying that I've done the same thing. I'll check out the profile, if I think it could be a go, I will wait till I have time to respond to the email, and therefore, I won't open it so they know that I just didn't get to it yet.
