It was perfect and....I lost it.

i'm sure this has happened to guys all the time, but it's bothering my girlfriend and i since it hasnt happened to us until tonight. we were having very passionate sex and everything was perfect. i overexerted my energy a bit (haha ) and wore myself out (we did it in at least 5 positions), and when she went down to give me head, it was good for awhile, but then i just lost it. my erection completely went away. it was horrible because she immediately knew something was up (or not up..), and felt bad about it. she feels like it's her fault, and it's not. i'm not losing interest in her, if that's what some people might be thinking, and i definitely am ALWAYS attracted to her. i lover her very much. we have a great sex life. i don't know why this happened and i would appreciate some insight on how to prevent this and/or handle it if it happens again, without making it feel like it's her fault.

Shyte happens dude. Don't let it get to you - it happens to the best of us from time to time.

When it happens to me, I just say something like "guess you wore him out " then I forget about it. As long as you can make her laugh about it you're aces.

On your end, try doing something to keep your mind at a higher level of arousal. One trick that works for me is to continue stimulating her while she is doing it. Takes my mind off of it and I don't go soft as easily.

To make her feel better, I'd just let her know that you appreciate it. I'd just ask for a blowjob or tell her you want it from time to time. Something to reinforce the desire and let her know it is something that you really want her to do.

I wouldn't even mention anything about losing it. Your excitement should be enough to give her the clue that you are enjoying yourself.

Does it only happen during oral sex?

Was she not good at it?

What were you thinking about when it happened?

she is quite good at it..which is why i don't understand what happened. i guess i was feeling a little stressed because her parents were going to be home at some point soon and we didn't want to get caught it the act; that could have contributed to it.

Stress, temperature of room, fatigue, all of these things can contribute to the intensity of you erection. Don't worry too much about it and tell her it has nothing to do with her oral skills. Plus if you came once from intercourse already the refractory period between the times that you can keep and maintain an erection.

i kno the only reason that makes my boyfriend lose his erection is if he gets over excited

or if we've been goin at it for hours but it usually gets back up afterwhile of resting

don't feel bad im pretty sure this has happened to millions of guys. let your girl know that

its okay stuff happens.

I've had this happen once or twice with my wife... we are having sex for a very long time, then we stop for a minute or two (pee break), and when we try to resume we find that my guy has left his post. No amount of coaxing or mind tricks will bring him back when it happens. I consider myself very "in tune" with my junk, and I can feel that its some circulatory/physiological thing.

Of course, this doesn't mean you can't continue pleasuring your partner with other body parts - which might bring him back (we didn't continue in these situations though, so I can't say).

This happened to me not too long ago as well. He seemed frustrated by it for only a moment then proceeded to cuddle with me and kiss me, and made sure that I didn't feel at fault. It just happens. You'll be fine as long as you assure her that it's not her fault (if it's not) if she asks.

How old are you btw?

i'm 21 and she's 17.

just before anyone flips...it IS legal here and both of our parents know we have sex and are okay with it, haha.

but i think her young age (she is very mature for 17 however) sometimes comes out in these situations and she feels inadequate.
