anybody ever get their auricle pierced?

i have my first and second holes on each earlobe..recently got it within the past 2 weeks. im thinking of eventually getting the skin or whatver it is thats only half way up the side of my ear pierced, i think its called the auricle? i read in to it and it said its cartildge yet 2 of my friends have it and they said they just got the skin pierced...just like a lobe!..

 

so which is it? does it have to be the cartildge there? and does it hurt more than the normal lobes?

I think you have cartildge and skin there. You can feel the difference.

everytime you post you are asking because your friends did it. that is not the same as a lobe.
