pinkrobot
There's a big bump, almost like a pimple, that's really dark red in color and has a big red splotch around it. It hurts ever so slightly, but I'm not sure if that's from my accidental chomping on my own cheek... Anyway, does anyone know what this is? I've never experienced it, despite biting the inside of my mouth about a million times in my life. It's creeping me out! And it's on the side of my mouth I normally chew on, so I'm worried I'll accidentally bite down on it now and make it worse. Link to comment
pinkrobot
So...what can I do to make it go away? Is there anything in particular that would make it worse? What if it pops? Link to comment
yellowcal
It should go away on it's own, rinse your mouth out with peroxide. Link to comment
Samedy
So...what can I do to make it go away? Is there anything in particular that would make it worse? What if it pops? If it pops, then the blood will just go in your mouth and you can swallow it or spit it out. It's not something to be overly concerned about. When I get them, after they annoy me I will just scratch my nail on it to pop it... Not sure if that's what your supposed to do, but it's worked for me. Link to comment

TechResQ
I did the same thing to the inside of my lower lip last week. OUCH! There is still a small bump, but it is gradually going away. It's just tissue trauma. Should go away on its own. Link to comment
Qut81
I had one the other day. I bit the same area of my lip 3 times while eating (I guess I was greedy that day) Try using mouthwash or dip a q-tip in peroxide and rub it in the area. Link to comment
pinkrobot
Thanks for all your responses! It died down gradually and appears to be gone now. Link to comment
