How do you stay angry....

Recommended Posts

Staying angry is not really a healthy place to be. Yes, you can be angry at what the other person did to you..but over time staying angry will only lead to bitterness. It will colour how you view the world. You need to experience the sadness as well. Anger and sadness are part of the healing process leading to acceptance of what happened. It is not healthy to stay stalled in the anger and sadness stages, but those are stages that should be experienced for a short period of time in order to process the emotions and accept the end of the relationship. Don't stay angry...feel the pain and then move forward with your life.

Just that by staying angry means that I won't feel anything for him... I can't believe he cheated, I can't believe he clearly didn't think I was enough as he was looking elsewhere all the time and I guess felt the grass is greener so never committed... WHY DID I KEEP GOING BACK!? Problem is, I feel like I could go back again!? I've got to see him every day at work!!
