Do you still think of someone from time and time

I took a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada a few years ago and unexpectedly met a sweet young guy from Boston. I regret that we didn't get to spend enough time longer and before I left I lost his number. Sometimes he crosses my mind and I wished we both stayed longer, I don't know if we'll ever cross paths again, but it is so true that when you no longer look for someone special sometimes they just show up at the same time when you were present there at that time and place. I still think of him till this day but, I know he'll never be with me. If I was to ever go back to time, I would've stayed longer with him before we parted....but maybe It wasn't meant to be I guess and I'll have to just suck it up and move on but Everytime I hear about las vegas I think of him and it makes me smile.

Do you ever think of someone in the past? If you do, what would have you done differently if you could go back into time?

Well, it's certainly not a healthy thing to do, but yeah.

There was a really nice girl I met in the airplane and we kept in touch for a while. I traveled a few times in an attempt to see her, only to see her just once Her job was very demanding, plus the language barrier really didn't help the matter. Thats when I realized I should've learned Mandarin much earlier than I should have...then maybe we would have had deeper conversations.

I had a best friend for 3 years and we sort of had a falling out but tried to rekindle our friendship a year ago. It must not have worked because since then, we haven't spoken. I have no way of contacting him either, but I'm pretty sure he knows my number, so I guess he doesn't think of me. I still miss him but it doesn't matter, if it was meant to happen it would have.

If I bump into him in the future and get the chance to talk to him I will most likely ask if we could start over and be friends?

I had a friend in primary and junior school. I didn't see much of him in highschool, not even sure if he was there, but now he seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. Noone has heard anything about him and he doesn't seem to be on any networking sites. I have no idea what happened to him but I think about him now and then.

I often think of many people that I've meant throughout my life. It is healthy to think of them, as long as you arent obsessing. These people are the stepping stones that we encounter through life. I believe that every person we meet was put in our path for a purpose....whether it be to teach us something, invoke a feeling in us or just make us smile. These people also help form our beliefs and ideals. We learn from every encounter.

Lol, sometimes I still think about a girl I've met when I was 6 years old...

But she was from another town and told me that she's driving home with her parents...

I'm still wondering what was her name and how she may look like now, because back then we unusually good understood each other...

Errr, kids...

i think of someone from my past that i let go. was a bad move, but we were young. if i could change it i would hope that we were both in mature times in our lives. unfortunately, we were too busy partying to realize it wasn't going to work. she was in love with me and i blew it. i still regret that, but i'm over the relationship. but i do miss her time to time. it's weird, we only dated for 4 months and i've had more of a connection with her than a girl i dated for 4.5 years and though i was going to marry. pffft.

it's not quantity.. it's quality.........in all things of life

oh for sure. i learned that early on. when i was 21-24 it was all quantity though it seems. just so happens that girl i let go was during that time period and i think the only girl i dated in those ages. such bad timing.

What happens in Vegas...

Right, I should've wrote I had no intentions of meeting anyone special in SIN CITY, in fact I was there to party hard but....unexpectedly I met a nice sweet guy who I will remember forever. =) (Oh and NO I did not have a one night stand either LOL)

Things happen for a reason I guess.
