why couldn't he have loved me?

I was visitng my parents and I found a book that my old friend gave me. He was really kind of a selfish person and didn't really get me too many things but I remember being touched that he got me something for my birthday. Just makes me think about how hard it is to find someone to connect to...someone who you are also attracted to. All he wanted was friendship...and my body. A fwb. I wanted so much more. Our last conversation was cruel and now he hates me. I almost prefer hatred to a friendship...its what I wanted. Why couldn't he have loved me? Its so hard to find someone and I had to let someone go who actually had what I wanted.

he didn't love you though. that should be the most important thing other than personality and qualities.

In order for a man to have everything you want, he has to want YOU! This truth sometimes hurts (I've been through it, believe me). All you can do is move on and get on with your life. When the time is right, the right man will come along (and he is worth waiting for!)
