diabolik
A recent conversation reminded me of something about an ex I never really understood. She loved oral, and sometimes when I'd go down on her, she'd let me bring her to multiple orgasms, but other times, while getting close to the first orgasm, she'd ask me to stop and to penetrate her immediately. When asked why she had me stop oral and switch to penetration, sometimes she would say that she felt like she needed to be filled up, and other times she would say that she didn't know but that she felt like she couldn't take it anymore like her heart was going to explode. Can any ladies here elaborate or take a stab at what she was feeling? Link to comment
NowandZen
Not a lady, but my wife is like this. Just a preference I suppose. For some, without penetration, it's not sex. Link to comment

Yeah, but she was going to get that after oral anyway. I figured why wouldn't she want both oral O and penetration O? It's just a feeling of wanting something inside of you while you orgasm. Hmmm, could be - when she had me stop oral early, she would often orgasm soon after I penetrated her. More of an emotional connection, too. She was very emotional about sex. But as I mentioned above, why not enjoy both the oral O and the penetrative O? Link to comment

Can any ladies here elaborate or take a stab at what she was feeling? Without getting into detail, I can just say that I've had similar experiences. I don't think there is anything strange about it. It's just a preference. If there isn't penetration, then a part of a woman's body feels like it is missing out on the fun. That is the best way I can explain it. During an orgasm there are muscle contractions that feel much more powerful if there is penetration at the time. But don't think about sex with your ex because that stops you from moving on. lol Link to comment

That is the best way I can explain it. Ha, this is the kind of feminine explanation that my male mind never really understood. During an orgasm there are muscle contractions that feel much more powerful if there is penetration at the time. A ha! That makes sense. But don't think about sex with your ex because that stops you from moving on. lol No worries there. She's a few ex's back; I was just having a conversation about sex recently that reminded me of that behavior, and since I'm on ENA now, I figured I'd ask what that was all about. Link to comment
lavenderdove
If all she wants is an orgasm, oral will suffice, but lots of the sexual experience is about feeling close and emotionally passionate as well as physically passionate. So penetration really fulfills an emotional need to feel really close and entwined with your partner. It's also the physical sensation of having a penis inside you too... You can't forget that the origin of sex is about penetration and reproduction, not just stimulation of the clitoris. So there is something very satisfying about feeling the penis inside, where it is meant to be during sex. Oral is great sensation wise, but penetration fulfils some primal needs/emotions. But as for the bolded Q... at least for me... the first O is often the most powerful, and often it feels best with penetration. Link to comment
laisla
penetration is a bit more....fulfilling than just oral. sometimes we have a need to just DO it. Link to comment
Goldilocks
I think your ex explained it hehe The way guys want to get inside, we girls want it there kind of deal. I prefer the O's I get from penetration & also I like feeling his body close to mine. Link to comment
IphigeniaSaysHi
Penetration is a great way to hold off the orgasm, making it more intense later. Link to comment

PsychGirly
When a woman has an orgasm during oral, it's a "clitoral orgasm", unless she's also being fingered (then it could be vaginal, too). When a woman has an orgasm during sex, it's most likely a "vaginal orgasm", which is way more powerful than a clitoral (for me, anyway). With that being said, I'd take a vaginal orgasm anyday over a clitoral orgasm, & I think that's the reason why she wants to be penetrated when she's close to O =] *phew* Link to comment

Honey Pumpkin
If you get the timing right, i.e. enter her just as she's about to orgasm from oral sex, the orgasm she will experience is incredibly intense and satisfying. In my experience.... I love doing it this way, because I can't orgasm through penetrative sex alone, but if I do it this way, then I can, and it's a very powerful sensation... Link to comment

Haha, sounds like I should stop asking questions when a woman says "come up and give it to me", and just plunge right in. Link to comment

diabolik
It is my understanding that a woman needs to be aroused before you can even FIND the G spot. Yeah, good point. Obviously it pops up with vaginal stimulation, but I guess it also swells from just clitoral stimulation? Link to comment
Nixee
People often divide female orgasms into two separate categories... vaginal and clitoral, but it really isn't that simple. At least it isn't for me. Just like you said diabolik... the arousal from clitoral stimulation definitely DOES affect a vaginal orgasm, and in my experience, pretty much the holy grail of orgasms is the orgasm that features both G-spot and clitoral stimulation in just the right amounts for the right length of time.
