onelifetolive
im 5'9'' a freshman in college. im skinny, and have an overall toned body. im not fat, AT ALL..i can assure you. the only thing is...i really want to start wearing normal short shorts and bathing suits, yet im ashamed. my lower butt area and back on thighs have what i call fat lines. im not sure what it is but it looks unattractive. im so jealous of the girls who are all muscle in the back of their legs and have those rock hard buns! i dont have this "fat" anywhere else on my body. i figure i have about a month until that weathers here!..i really really want to just be comfortable in my shorts and bathing suit..but its not going tohappen. i really really need help desperately so i dont feel like an outcast! thank you ! im willing to do WHATEVER it takes! =) Link to comment
Laura11111
What do you mean by fat lines? Are they stretch marks? Stretch marks look like scars. Is it cellulite? Link to comment
onelifetolive
umm...maybe its cellulite.. probablly?...im not fat but if you can have cellulite and not be fat, then i guess thats it. i dont know how to get rid of it, or just hide the appearance? Link to comment
ay0_x
No. It's not stretch marks. I get what you're talking about. Horizontal lines, yeah? That just go from one side to the other? Link to comment
JeckyllNHyde
You;ll be surprised what a HUGE difference one month at the gym makes... luckily. Spinning classes got my saggy butt in shape. So much that I was actually getting naked infront of my bf... with the lights on lol. Standing infront of a mirror. Try it. Or just do any xcersizing where you use your entire leg (treadmill, bike). But spinning reallllly is something which worked for me (I've always had a mushy butt unless I work out.) Link to comment
Ball Four
I grow a Rocky IV beard and get after it in the gym. I mean GET AFTER IT. Link to comment
SpeedingCars
"Skinny" people have cellulite as well. I have an idea of what you're talking about. I see this girl who wears really tight shorts and she has those lines. Perhaps your shorts aren't loose enough? I'm not entirely sure what type of exercises you do to get rid of those since it's not cellulite or fat, really. They're just lines... like your skin is scrunching, right? Maybe you could talk to a trainer at a gym and ask them what their suggestion is. Link to comment
Laura11111
Get to the gym and firm that butt...lol. Good luck. Link to comment

dangletsbang
stretch marks - The only cream i've ever found to work after trying a bunch..is Super Shape Anti-Stretch Mark and Cellulite cream by Avon..the disgusting stretch marks I had on each side of my belly button..they were deep and thick..very noticeable..have almost completely disappeared..no joke. I am so damn happy too. Lol. It hasn't really worked that much for the cellulite though..firms the skin a little..but diet and exercise is the only thing that makes the cellulite on my butt and thighs go away. Running, work your legs. Question - I've heard tons on 'spinning'..what exactly is it? Link to comment
onelifetolive
where can i purchase this cream? how long did it take to work? Link to comment
dangletsbang
where can i purchase this cream? how long did it take to work? link removed and you're supposed to use it twice a day..but I literally only used it once and day..and mine were fading in less than a week..I mean dramatic results. BUT, it may not work on you as well is it did on me. What works for some, may not work for others. But it's cheap, 17 bucks a tube..it's worth a try. Good luck. Link to comment
ghost69
do squats and hamstrings more and hit cardio. you will lose weight and help tighten that area. Link to comment

Alezia
If you don't want to lose weight, just increase your calorie intake to compensate for what you burn in the gym. The exercice will definetly help, I have those weird lines too - appeared after my first pregnancy. I just assumed it was cellulite. Link to comment
onelifetolive
what foods would help along with exercise and the cream to make them disappear!? Link to comment
yellowcal
Creams will not make stretch marks disappear, so if that is what you have don't count on creams to do anything. Just throwing that.02 in there. Link to comment

SpeedingCars
Cellulite are dimples though, not lines necessarily...so you might not even have that. Now I'm feeling like a fat lard sitting here. I feel like hitting the gym! But cardio is so exhausting... And "spinning" is like a cycling class, from what I understand. I was never a fan of going on the bicycle at the gym, but I think if you have a class it'll be more productive and you'll get results. Squats help a lot for your butt! Link to comment
onelifetolive
welll....i actaully do have those disgusting dimples when i flex and tighten my butt! ahhhhhhhhhhh](*,) Link to comment
JeckyllNHyde
welll....i actaully do have those disgusting dimples when i flex and tighten my butt! ahhhhhhhhhhh](*,) Yea I had them too. It's not a big deal to get rid of. You just have to work at it. Like I said, do some stairclimbing excersizes, as well as spinning. You'll have nice buns in no time. (Gotta keep it up or after some time the firmness goes away). Link to comment
JeckyllNHyde
Question - I've heard tons on 'spinning'..what exactly is it? Spinning is like a class you take with an instructor. Nowdays alot of gyms have them. It involves loud music, sometimes a dimly lit room with neon lights and a bike, which stays in plays, is much heavier and the wheels spin around VERY quick. It can be pretty intense. You have to up the resistance to make it go slower, which makes you work harder. And then you get up, sit down, etc and the instructor tells you to while music is blaring. Give it a try if you can. image removed Link to comment
