BusyNAbroad
Did your parents have affairs while you were still kids? Did they introduce you to the people whom they cheated with? What were the funniest excuses? Well, I was trained by my mother not to tell my father anything. And my father also trained me not to tell anything to my mother. I used to be like very confused, but then they bought me lots of presents to bribe me, from chocolate to expensive toys. Which obviously meant that I was doing the right thing, since they always buy expensive toys when I'm a good boy. That's how my moral values were trained as a child Any similar experiences? If yes, did they ever apologize later on, or explain things more clearly, when you grew older? P.S.: Don't you think parents should be more responsible in teaching their children not to lie? TechResQ
Oh wow... How sad. I think that's terrible to do to a child. and yes, parents should be more responsible to teach their kids what a good relationship is all about. AND, not to lie. Link to comment
Dosed
That's terrible - I really feel for you. Parents should never put a child in that type of situation - I'm trying hard to think of something more selfish a parent could do but drawing blanks. Link to comment
Cognitive_Canine
I never really saw a functional relationship until I had one. Learn from their mistakes and make yourself stronger. Link to comment
