amoremhifi
My boyfirend dumped me because he is depressed. He said it is because our realtionship is not what it used to be but I think it might be something deeper than this. What do I do? I want to support him through this but he is pushing me away. I know he loves me but how long can I put my life on hold for him to get better? can anyone help? Link to comment
CallingAllAngels
Is he under the care of a Dr. for his depression? Link to comment
IMAbadman
What makes you think he is even depressed? As she ^^^ said is he under the care of a doctor? From what I understand he told you things changed, the relationship isn't what it use to be. Link to comment
Ms Darcy
He dumped you, honey. Your job isn't to support him. It's to heal yourself and move forward. Keep posting your thoughts. Link to comment
on
my advice is to sit down and have a real talk with him. ask him why do you think our relationship isnt the way it use to be... and if you say he is depressed.... there has to be a main reason! try to find the root of the problem! people who are depressed need as much as support as they can get!! i know from experence!!!! if you love him and as you say he loves you.... you should be there for him true the best and the worst!!! just give it time... good luck Link to comment
pinkrobot
If something was wrong enough with your relationship that it caused him to go into depression, it's nothing that's going to be easily fixable. Like Ms Darcy said, your job now isn't to support him. It's to support yourself. Link to comment
