venting about my 'best' friends- would love to hear your input

I dont understand, why do all my friends turn their back on me? I havent done anything! If I did I would admit it, Im not shallow. For example, one of my 'friends' found out that 2 of the guys from our group of friends liked me and she flipped, she started hanging out them them more and going to their house (she has a boyfriend too), I dont know what she said about me because now they all ignore me and are cold towards me.

 

Then my so called other friend wouldnt hang out with me because her boyfriend went overseas and and she said she was too depressed, however she went out either way, Ive also noticed she never calls me or texts me, Im the one calling her all the time!!

 

Then my other 'friend'...well she was a materpiece! She asked to be my partner for an assignment then the night before it was due she said she didnt want to talk to me again, and she called me horrid names! She also didnt write my name on the GROUP assignment, lucky I redid everything and handed it in the next day and also told my teachers what happened, thankfully they were understanding. Anyway after 4 months she calls me trying to be friends again, but I couldnt trust her enough, funny enough because I found out she and my ex met and are now 'good' friends!

 

Maybe I just give to much, maybe Im supportive too much, maybe Im too friiken nice!? I dont know how this always happens! I must really suck, first its guys, now its friends... whats next!? Cant be a cat lady!?

You're just getting close to the wrong kind of people. I don't know if there's something you're doing that's attracting them (supposedly there's always something wrong with us too) but I guess that as soon as you see a person has jealousy issues or are mean in general it's time to get away from them because whatever they do to others they'll eventually do to you.

 

I had a friend who did a bunch of things to me but I always forgave her because she said nobody else understood her, she always told me the horrible things others (roommates, classmates, relatives) did to her and how lonely she was, then one day she betrayed me with those "others" and I suddenly became the evil person who ruined her life. I don't know what made me think I was safe and that she really was going to be different towards me.

 

The point is that you're probably not the first person they behave badly with, so next time pay attention how they treat the rest and run towards the opposite direction if you see something you don't like.

 

Get yourself some new friends, those girls weren't good for you. Oh and about those guys who liked you, just talk to them and ask them what's wrong, perhaps you can still save something there.
