Would u be able to "Just know?"

 

eg. When u see two ppl sitting opposite in a group, who can't take their eyes off each other the whole night, and u can sense the sparks in the air.

 

eg. When two ppl just have that chemistry - the girl emotional and eloquent and the guy cerebral and listening and attentive and the conversation dynamic and fluid, and they're just so happy and engrossed in each other.

Not sure about a guy being cerebral in that circumstance or the woman being eloquent, but yes, listening and participating in good conversation as you describe is normal for me. All of my relationships, and nearly all of my friendships have started with what you described. I don't think it's that unusual if both parties stop the posturing and just be natural.
