sugar_britches
On sunday my diary went missing from my bed side table. I searched all over for it and couldnt find it whatsoever. 24 hours later my diary miraculously appeared back where it had been left. I asked my hubby if he knew anything about it and he said a definate no. Both my children said they had not moved it either. Hubby was making such a fuss because he felt i suspected he had taken it, read it and placed it back in its original position. As soon as i told hubby i did not supect him at all and knew he respected my privacy he became very upset and said i had insulted him. Both kids however when questioned didnt make a fuss at all and said straight "no it wasnt me" and did not try to justify there whereabouts at the time it dissapeared. Hubby did quite the opposite and gave a huge run down of his day. Any ideas how i should handle this? All views are welcome x Link to comment
DJBaby
He probably took it... but think about what the motivation might be... Do you have a birthday or big event coming up? Link to comment
sugar_britches
Hiya, Its not a diary that i keep dates in, more of a journal! It has some of my personal stuff in there about me! x Link to comment
amipushy
Well if you're leaving it in a place which is easily accessible to all members of your family you should expect someone to be curious and have a sneaky look. Not saying it's right, but it should be expected. curiosity killed the cat and all that. Stash it someplace safe from now on, or get a new one with a lock and key, or buy a small security box, or do an online one with a secure password, that option is available on this site btw. jengh
I have a feeling it was probably your husband...If he was getting that defensive and worked up about it, yeah...plus you left it in such an accessible place... Link to comment
