Ok Ive come to the conclusion... its me, its gotta be me, I must look fat, ugly, or both, I must be mean and have a horrible personality, I know I believe every crap that people spin to me but I cant help it I like to think the best of people. Maybe I give too much, am I too nice, does it make me look needy? Because Im not needy at all, I can do things that my male friends cant, eg put furniture together.

 

I know everyone says usually find people when we are not looking for them, but I dont think thats true because I havent been thinking of being in a relationship for ages (up until late).

 

Where do you go out to meet men? Gym? Too sleazy, work? Too political, Clubs? Erm no way (once again the sleaze factor), join clubs or do courses? Full of females thinking the same think as me!

 

I need to get myself afew cats and offically become the cat lady!!

Hmmm... yes, there was a spell there in my life where I worried about becoming the cat lady as well lol... Too boot, I already had 3 cats at the time, which wasn't helping - heh...

I met my boyfriend at a gym & we both work there! Completely different roles mind you (he teaches fitness classes & I work in an admin. position, plus do personal fitness training)...

 

Though I do understand why some people might choose not to date people from work, but it depends on how closely you work together & a lot of other factors... In some cases it might be best but not necessarily all.

 

My point is, maybe try to have a more positive view where you are not pre-assuming so many options are not good & closing yourself off to things....

 

It takes time to find a good match, yes (so patience is needed) but keep in mind that there are lots of people in relationships at the moment, who have managed to meet somewhere or other....
