My nails are thin and peeling incessantly, my cuticles are rough and often bleeding or painful. (I HATE IT!!!!!)

-My hands aren't in water more than average, I have a desk job, and I try my best to moisturize and take care of my hands and nails but NOTHING seems to help.

I am going crazy because I would love to have pretty nails but I cannot seem to achieve this. lol

I have been thinking about seeing a salon for them, but I really don't want fake nails or to spend a ton of money. Would rather find a solution myself.

*I heard polybactirin helps cuticles by removing bacteria

*My mom says drinking knox gelatin helps

*I hear great things about prenatal vitamins but I am superstitious... haha

Other than that I have no ideas. Anyone in the same boat or know of any tips, fixes, etc??

Thanks!

flaxseed oil. take it internally and use it topically- best stuff ever. contains lignans which fight bacteria and fungi, and contains enough essential fatty acids to give nourishment to broken or irritated cuticles.

i use it often and have really soft skin and hair.

Thank you so much. I am willing to try this, since I really feel it's a nutrient problem.

Where can I find this?
