beccamalibu
me and my crush were having a conversation last night and i mentioned that he should come over. he thought i meant last night and said sure. i said no but what about tomorrow, and he said maybe. now should i hit him up and ask if he want to come over tonight again, or should i just leave it alone and think that if he really wants to come over tonight he knows that he can and will call me. thanks. Mandoro
Call him. Reason being, you asked, he responded, then you said at a different time (even though you meant today). Plus this waiting around stuff can just lead to pure out boredom when you could be hanging out with someone! Link to comment
beccamalibu
i know i just don't want to look desperate. he knows he is welcome over tonight, but i haven't heard from him all day. Link to comment
Mandoro
Telephone calls to hang out are acts of friendship. What would be desperate would be you calling him over and then straddling him. Call him up and see what hes upto. I completely despise the whole "I dont want to look desperate" bs. Think of it like this, if it were one of your girlfriends would you call her to hang out? Of course, so what makes it different? Link to comment
beccamalibu
should i invite him again, or be like "so are you coming over tonight?" Link to comment
Mandoro
When ya call him up ask him if he wants to go get food or to come over and watch a movie or something. Just be like "Hey, wanna ". That is easy and painless and if he doesnt like the activity it leaves the door open for him to suggest a counter-activity. The whole "so are you coming over tonight?" may come off wrong. "So" in this context is kinda strong. I find you are more inviting if you use "Hey" before your question Link to comment
