Stereohead
I’m just curious…I don’t have actual insurance anymore (I’m not a full time student so I was taken off my parents insurance). So it’s not a simple case of being able to run up to the clinic anymore to see if everything’s alright. Well, lately I’ve been getting a lot more tired and “sick to my stomach”. I am a smoker, and it’s strange for me to feel ill after a cigarette… instead I just end up grabbing a snack (I do eat more lately…but not too much more then usual… I casually grab smaller things throughout the day, not full out meals). Anyways. I was just wondering as a girl, is this something I should be concerned with? Sudden fatigue, on/off nausea, etc. Just curious if this is something I should be keeping a watch on… to see if it continues. I’m not even lightly stressed…actually been having a lot of fun lately and got a lot of things accomplished. So I know it’s not stressed induced. Just been feeling weird, physically (referring to the fatigue and nausea). Link to comment
Sn0man
I could be wayyyyy off base but i've heard those symptoms accompany early pregnancy. In any case, if you're feeling off you should see a doctor, without question. Unless it's a cold. Link to comment

avman
Yeah here's a third vote for possible pregnancy. If there is any possibility you should take a test right away since you are a smoker. Link to comment

No it’s not a cold-I’ll probably keep a watch on how I’m feeling going into next month (if I miss my period then I’ll take a test etc). It’s possible I suppose that I could be pregnant-but my boyfriend I always have a condom…but apparently on the 16th/17th he thinks he accidentally released in me…I was looking at my “documents folder” and that was listed as a note. Haha, I forgot about that completely. So I suppose it’s very possible I could be pregnant. Eep! Link to comment

Stereohead
Haven’t yet. I’ve been busy with work and other things. I’d still have to wait for my pay check to come in so I can buy a test. So it may be awhile (two weeks at most). Link to comment
avman
Some women's health clinics offer free pregnancy tests. Link to comment

I'd suggest you find some way to get one sooner or go into your local health department or planned parenthood and have one done there for free. Link to comment
Stereohead
Yeah I know that, but the ones in our area are too far away. -I don't have a car. I'll just quit smoking till I know the answer. Link to comment

I was told the "cheap" test you get at stores aren't as accurate. But I have no clue. Lol, I have two dollars in my bank account atm. I just started working again. Link to comment

So just keep it in mind. I'm in on/off smoker. Been slowly quitting anyways so it's not a big bother to me to cut off cold turkey. I'll look into the clinics around my area again-may have changed since the last time I lived here. If the cheap ones work just as well, then I don't mind going to the store and buying one tomorrow. Thanks for your replies btw. =) Link to comment
ghost69
i used to have an ex that would freak out about this all the time. i always bought the cheap ones and we would test her about 3 times for the price of an expensive one. Link to comment
