somethngwrng
link removed Old article. So if I lived elsewhere, I'd be even more screwed?! (of course, not literally. I would be screwed even less, if that's even possible) Link to comment
NightLily
Not really. If you are a sweet guy who likes to date, develop feelings, and then have sex you might have more luck in a place that is on the side of being sexually conservative. Link to comment
Jas4
I have never heard of that type of behavior in this country before. Ps hi, I've been reading for months but never posted =( Link to comment
MinziGirl
Hmmm... such women can be found in every part of the world... why only New Zealand? Don't the author thinks that this thread is a little bit racist? Link to comment

somethngwrng
Hmmm... such women can be found in every part of the world... why only New Zealand? Don't the author thinks that this thread is a little bit racist? It's called Xenophobic. No, I'm not... I'm a Kiwi. Basically NZ won the "most promiscuous women" title from a Durex survey, TVNZ went and interviewed some people and found the findings to be accurate (albeit from a sample of 5!). It was done last year, one of my friends just linked me to it on MSN. Link to comment
iamtrying
how stupid! Who wrote this article and why? Link to comment
coldplay.
how stupid! Who wrote this article and why? To get people talking about it, Durex has already been name dropped. Every single person that now looks at this thread sees a Durex commercial. Link to comment
Nutz
It's not a load of crap. The same thing is happening here in the US and was happening in the UK while I lived there. It's just not apparent to the older crowd. There seems to be a rift between the last of us gen-x folks and the gen-y crowd. Kids today are growing up in a very sexualized culture, hence the fast track to sex. This is also known as "hookup culture". Traditional dating may not be dead, but it's far less common than it used to be. Nowadays it's about going out, hooking up, and seeing if that person is relationship material after the deed is done. It was kinda touched on in this article as well and expanded upon in the interview (podcast): City Journal article chiding today's young men as immature and irresponsible Peter Pans for not committing to marriage. link removed Subsequent interview regarding above article: link removed link removed link removed link removed Finally a followup to the original article: link removed Link to comment
