masterflydazzle
I'm 17 and I met this guy in school and one day started iming him. We just did little ims back and forth a few times here and there, but then one day had like a 4 hour conversation. I started to kind of crush on him, but didn't really want anything other than friendship, so I just really wanted to know more about him. We were quite obviously flirting over the internet and in school he would always aknowlege me in the hallways and such..he even came to sit with me at lunch on quite a few occasstions. We had a few other long conversations through aim and then he just seemed to get uninterested. I accidentally brought up a few touchy subjects (a year after me and my ex got together exactly and his parent's divorce) and as he found out more about me he probably discovered that I have many many male friends which could possibly been a turn off, but I don't know. Anyway, he started getting really quiet over the internet and just started seeming really uninterested but I don't know if he's just been busy or if I said something to completely turn him off to me. I had invited him to my house for a poker night before this happened but did not give him a time yet. Should I tell him the time and say its up to him? In your opinion, what could be going on? I would be completely fine as just being friends with him, but I could also see him as more if he wanted lol Thanks in advance =] Link to comment
Laura11111
Hmmm...you should ask him. It could be that he's just become uninterested or that he's busy. I'd give him the time and then see what happens. Link to comment
ponyboy
Well at first you said you werent looking for anything other than a friendship, then towards the end you said you would be open to more if he was. So which is it lol, do you like him or not? And give him a time, i assume it isnt just going to be you too, i would probably invite him over a little earlier than the others. That way he wont feel akward walking into a room of strangers. Link to comment
roctown
If he finds you attractive and is 17/18, I have no idea how you would actually go about scaring him off. I'm trying to think of how a girl could have scared me off in those days, and there really was no way if I found them hot. I will tell you this though. If I found a girl hot at 17, I also had no idea what I was doing. He might think that backing off is what he should do. Just give him the exact time on his away screen or something, he'll show up. I mean he seems really cool and like a nice guy, but I want to get to know him better before I let anything happen, hence inviting him over for poker night lol I'll probably just invite hime over at the normal time...he knows most of my friends from classes and stuff.
