dating activities during evening

I think I got tired of the dinner date and want to do some "activity" type of dating which doesn't require too much of talking.

I've thought about dancing clubs and rock climbing, but we're both late 20s and he's a shy sensitive type of guy and doesn't like watching sports.

thanks for any suggestions.

I find this difficult to answer because what is the point of dating if you aren't talking to each other?

if you like dancing, but not dance clubs, you could take dance lessons, or see if your community city offers cooking classes?

My friend told me how they went on a thai cooking class date and really enjoyed it.

NO! I started really going out dancing at 29 (although I stopped so much at 32 as everyone else in the clubs are like 12) and at 37 am still rock climbing.

sometimes it just nice to do activity together without talking, you get to know a different aspect of the person.

I have plenty of friends who love going out dancing and are in their late thirties/ forties.

These same friends also like rock climbing... but yeah it can be annoying if everyone else in the clubs was born in 1992!

some clubs in some cities get a more diverse/ older crowd... depends on where you are!

Movies require you to sit in the same room next to each other but other than that you don't really have anything to do with one another. The person sitting next to you could be anybody. You're not spending any time getting to know each other. I love bowling. It rocks! I don't think you can go wrong with that provided you find it at least marginally interesting.
