fixyou_
So, I'm talking to a guy who's 11 years older than me. I've (sexually) been with a 29 year old when I was 19, so I don't know what to think, really. He's attractive, silly, and seems very responsible. He's also pretty easy to talk to, and I'm rarely ever attracted to people to the point where I'm actually interested. I've been talking to him for about a week, and I think I may be interested. I haven't been in a relationship for about 2 years now, so I'm not really looking for anything serious at the moment, more along the lines of friends first for a while and see where that goes. Gotta play it safe, ya know? So, my main question... He has a young girl. Should I be worried about that before I even let him know that I'm interested in him? It doesn't bother me that he has a kid. I mean, I'm not looking to be anyone's mother (AT ALL!), and that makes him who he is. I just would like to know if anyone's had these experiences, and if you'd be willing to share. He sayyys he's attracted to me due to my intelligence (haha!), and we have some common favorites and all that jazz. Any takers? Link to comment
Justinforhire
20 and 31? Sounds normal to me. Go for it and take it like you would take any other relationship. Times are changing and these 10ish year age gaps are becoming very common as well as potentially successful. Link to comment
lukeb
There is no way to tell from here, it totally depends where each of you are at in life. When one is ready to settle down, and the other still wants to go out and party every night is where you run into problems. Generally women mature earlier in life but that is just a generalization.
