MyheartorHis
Me and this guy I am "seeing" are very shy. We kiss a lot when have some liquid courage, but still flirt and kiss when we aren't... just not as open (I don't know the word for it) when we are sober. It's only been a week, but we have NEVER even mentioned anything about feelings. I think it's because it's obvious, but it's driving me nuts. I guess I just want to get it out there. Just say it. I like you. Doesn't have to be spilling guts, no extra feelings that don't have to be said. Just to the point and mean it. I am not worried about him not saying it. Ugh. Should I do it? Just say it? Tru80
I would tell him. Perhaps tell him you really enjoy spending time with him and that you really like him... I'm sure you'll get the same reply. Link to comment
MyheartorHis
I hate being away from him and making this decision lol. If I DID just say it, should I just text him? Or wait till we are together? Link to comment
jas56
I would tell him in person. No text for you!!!! That's too easy! There is just something a little more......special about being face to face. Link to comment
MyheartorHis
But I am too chicken! lol And I really rather not do it even with one beer. I want to be completely sober... and him, too! We don't drink EVERY time we are together, but we do get out with friends a lot. Ugh I like him so much. I have known him for 5 years!!! Link to comment
jas56
Come on Chief! Chin up, go to the mirror and practice if you have too!!! Eat a can of spinach, get some muscle and some heart and be like ok ok. Im ready for this. (in weird accent) YOU CAN DO IT!!! Link to comment
MyheartorHis
Haha it's pretty sad that I am 21 and trying to find the courage to tell someone I like him and give him a BIG kiss after to a guy I have known for 5 years. WOW! lol Link to comment
jas56
Dude dont EVEN trip lol! This takes time and finesse. You don't have to rush or move to fast. You will get comfy in your own time but don't wait too long. Think of it this way, he is probably WAITING for you. Its just as scary for him as it is for you. Its like me being afraid of a spider. Im jumpin on tables while the dang thing is probably scared running away because of the fear of being squashed lol (ok maybe that wasn't a good comparison but you know what i mean!) Link to comment

SpeedingCars
Yeah, depending on alcohol = no good. How about when you guys are just cuddling or after you get done kissing, you just say "I like kissing you!" and go from there? Ok it sounds a little cheesy, but I'm just throwin it out there since I did that with my guy and it worked wonders. It all depends on your tone It was soo hard for me to just say "I LIKE YOU" when it was SO obvious the feeling was mutual! So I understand. But to answer your question, YES YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY DO IT! Life is too short to hold back. And since you know he likes you too, what's the harm? I don't understand though... you're "seeing" him? What does that mean? You guys are not exclusive? Link to comment

It's just going sloooooow (which is goooooood) but I just want to go ahead and put it out there. We have already said things kinda like what you said, but haven't just got it OUT there. Haha. It's funny how the simplest things are the ones that matter most. Link to comment
Tru80
Don't text. How about you call him up and ask him to a movie or out to coffee just the two of you? The action tells him you like him... and then you can follow up by saying "I really like you..." with a big smile and it'll be magic!! Link to comment

We have gone out on dates before this, so it IS obvious we like each other. I just want to SAY it. But we joke and flirt so much... it should be easier than it is... Link to comment
jas56
It really is a beautiful thing to have mutual attraction. The opportunity will come. You'll see. You will probably say it without even thinking too much about it. Your on the board, now all you have to do is dive (ok ok im done with the cheesy analogies. Its just the way I talk lol) Link to comment

I think it's only because he gets a goodbye kiss hehehehe. But if the time comes up, I'm GOING FOR IT! ;-) Link to comment
MyheartorHis
SWEET! keep us posted lol I SORT OF said it. We held hands last night in front of EVERYONE. It made my heart pound, I had to hide the biggest smile ever. You see, the people we were around we have ALL hung out for YEARS. And I dated a guy in the group about 2 or 3 years ago. Which I mean, it's the past and it's been so long ago that it doesn't matter anymore. But we were talking about how shy/nervous we get around each other it was so cute. And he said he will stop being so shy at first so I told him that I like being around him shy or not shy! lol I feel like I'm 12 years old with a crush on a boy. Link to comment
