lost1607307474
There were two other poms there and he seemed to like them. A bull terrier made him go completely ape, though... I'd say probably due to fear. The other poms held no threat to him, but the bull terrior did and was more 'scary.' Link to comment
Maroney555
I think that you and your boyfriend should "vote" on who's house to keep Dexter at. I thinkg that when either aren't home you should either crate him or put him in a fenced place outside where he can't get out or get into trouble. Good luck. Dogs are a pain...even the well behaved and loyal ones Link to comment
jul-els
We took Dexter to the dog-friendly mall yesterday with my other older dog and things went pretty well. He would be aggressive with some dogs and not others. There were two other poms there and he seemed to like them. A bull terrier made him go completely ape, though... Whenever they would bark we would turn around the other way until they stopped. At least it was lots of exercise. When you have them on the leash, I believe the prevaling wisdom is to keep the collar high, directly behind the ears and if they act out you are supposed to correct them with the leash. Not hurt, just enough to bring their attention back to you. Calm, assertive, and consistent. Link to comment
