paranoiac543
Ever since i can remember, i just feel wrong in make up.. i want to start wearing black eyeliner and black eyeshadow because it looks so pritty. I play around with my make up in my room..lol.. i don't really own a lot of things..just eyeliner and one eyeshadow thingy.. but today my mom's friend gave me this awesome lip gloss that smells so good and it's so fun putting on.. but i'd just feel weird going outside with make up.. i don't really know why I think people will stare at me or something..? i have no idea. I do like other girly things like shopping and i LOVE earrings..so what's the deal?! i want to look pritty Link to comment
DaBladeRoden
are you "pritty" without makeup though? Link to comment
paranoiac543
I like saying pritty instead of pretty.. and yes I think i am pritty without make up Link to comment
DaBladeRoden
hmm, guess you don't have to wear makeup out then Link to comment

vmrhine18
Maybe you could start with just eyeliner and mascara? For eyeshadows you could always start with neutral tones and once you feel comfortable move to something a little more bold. Link to comment
forever1130
If you are comfortable enough to not wear make up, than don't! Sometimes I feel like I can't go out without it cause people only know me the way I look when I'm wearing it. Its a vicious cycle if you ask me, I wish I never started wearing it. I know I'm pretty without it but I just feel more comfortable with it. I'm not saying that I do always wear makeup (some days I'm just lazy) but I'm always more self conscious on those days. And you could always just save it for special occasions. Be proud that you are naturally beautiful!! There are girls like me who are jealous that you are that comfortable and confident in yourself! uofagirl
Makeup is fun You just gotta know how to apply it. If you aren't used to wearing makeup then start off with very little. Mascara alone does wonders. Really makes the eyes pop! Play with it. Find out what you like....what you don't like..... But girl, if you can get away without wearing makeup then more power to ya! I feel naked without my makeup! Link to comment
thejigsup
Some days I wear make up and some days, if I don't feel like it, I don't. You aren't make up, you are a person. I feel more made up and polished when I wear make up, which I have to wear most of the time for work. But weekends, hardly ever unless we are going someplace for dinner. Link to comment
jengh
If you're comfortable enough to not wear makeup, I think that's great and a lot of men appreciate that! I, personally, love wearing it, experimenting with colors and all that. I'm totally fine with leaving the house sans makeup, but I usually put it on anyways. Start simple...ease your way into it...start with the lip gloss maybe...then add some mascara...then some eyeliner =) Link to comment
lost1607307474
Why don't you start off just wearing a little bit of make-up that is very subtle, and then gradually experiment with more make-up when you are going somewhere special, for example. You shouldn't feel weird wearing make-up when you go out - most girls do! But you also shouldn't feel that you HAVE to wear make-up all the time. A lot of people prefer attractive girls when they don't cover up their beauty with make-up Link to comment
mr_iwi
I don't like makeup, and would love to meet someone who doesn't feel comfortable wearing it. Result Link to comment
metrogirl
Ugh....I used to wear makeup faithfully...You couldn't catch me without my makeup and then over time, I just stopped (variety of reasons). Now I find myself with a few thousand dollars worth of MAC makeup in my closet collecting dust and the desire to start wearing it again but sooooo lazy to actually take the time to apply it. I used to blend different colors for different looks and had soooo much fun with it. To the OP, girl go for it! As you start wearing it a little, you will get more and more use to it. Link to comment
