glegend Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Well fella's today I'm a happy man. Depsite me being I am happy. I got my Visa paid off, my dad took my bill and paid the whole balance off this morning. I also got 2 out of 3 offers of admission to college for next year. On top of the college admissions since I'm in college right now and did math and english at my college I've already got excempted from the math and english aptitude test. The best part is that the college offers that I got is that they are my first two choices. The Glegend

HerDestiny Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 That is fantastic news! Make sure that genie of yours stops over here too because I have a few wishes, too! Do I have to stick to just three though?

Alezia Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Congrats =) I hope that your third wish was that you will enjoy your program.
glegend Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 I really think I am going to enjoy the program. I hope I will be able to enjoy it to its fullest. I just hope there is not too much review for me since I do come from a construction background and I will hate it much if I am sitting learning stuff that I know. The worse could be if I the prof is asking questiong and I am the only one who knows the answers and the only one answering, has happened to me in grade 11 summer school. I went to summer school, but I knew the subject material which shows that my normal teacher was not preparing the tests right, and I was the smartest kid in the class and was the only one who had the confidence to answer questions that the teacher would ask and it came to the point where he would tell the class "anyone but glegend"
lady00 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Yay! I remember when you posted and you were worried about getting your apps in on time because the server was down. I'm glad everything turned out well!
glegend Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 Yay! I remember when you posted and you were worried about getting your apps in on time because the server was down. I'm glad everything turned out well! The server went down a few times. It was hilarious actually, but really really stressing. I have multiple computer in the house and they are connected to the net, I had them all going and with some I could get onto the site and could proceed to a certain and then I get the error page. It went again afew days after I did my application, the same site that I did the application is the site I check for any offers of admission. I'm glad in the end that I was able to get the applications done on time and that I got some offers. I knew that I would get in, but had doubts since I been out of high school for almost two years.
