JessicaMal Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Wow reading this just made me feel stupid. Its very true how most girls including myself (i would know if guys are the same) fret about a guy and how he acts towards them and basically trying so hard to make their relationship work when like the book says...the guy is just not into you...simple. The answer is so simple and yet we look for some other answer that doesn't exist. I like this idea.
lifeisgood93 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 In the end, sure you still have to walk away, but it gets tiring and feels horrible to constantly tell yourself "yup, I guess he wasn't that 'into' me.... even though he sure acted like it...." Real life is sometimes more complicated. That is what I've learned. But sure.... take care of yourself, and keep your dignity... I get the message. I think this is the worst part...fine, he wasn't that into me, but why did he act like it in the beginning and act as if he wanted a future??? That is where the analyzing comes in for me. I have no problem taking it easy and slow and having fun with it, but if he talks and acts like he wants something more and a possible future then why all of a sudden the switch to "I'm busy" or "I'm not sure what I want right now". It's just ridiculous! There is so much time spent rebuilding after these types of guys....it's a lot of work and tiring. Plus, it makes it so much harder to believe the guy who might actually be telling the truth when he says he wants to be exclusive and sees a possible future with you and wants to see where it might lead.
