v-day gifts

What would be a good v-day gift for someone you just started officially dating this weekend. We've been going and doing things every weekend since Dec but her son was always with us and so i never really considered it a date. But this weekend she got a sitter and we went to eat then went to a Toby Keith concert where i kissed her for the first time. After the concert we went to this bar drank some beers and danced for a few hours and then i took her home. We kissed at her door and then i left and then we hung out the next day.

Anyways i want to get her something for v-day. The problem is we are driving to Boston on Thursday to stay with her sister for the weekend and i can't think of anything to get her that i can hide for 2 days in a car. Any ideas.

a sweet card/letter thats says how much youve enjoyed spending time with her. to me thats more than enough for someone youve just started dating... but as for a gift maybe a gift certificate to a salon/spa or whatever. if youd feel odd not getting her a wrapped gift/flowers, just let her know that you had to get her something you could hide

Give her the car, that would be easy enough to hide in the car. =P

A card would be fine though =) I'm a sucker for luxury bath items though, but may be a bit much or hard to hide.

Nothing was actually the answer is was looking for. Not that im cheap i just thought it was too early but i wasn't sure if I needed to get her something. I'll probably let her pick a resturant in Boston and take her there.

I think little surprises are very flattering and really meaningful.

Maybe when you two go out, you can ask her to drive, or to take her car. Have a card that comes from the "from me to you" section of the card store. Get one that isn't too romantic, it just kinda says you are glad to have them in your life.

Write a personal little note inside the card to her that goes something like:

"By the time you find this, valentines day will likely already be past. I just wanted to make sure that next time you opened your sun visor you had a reason to smile!"

Place the card over the drivers side sun visor, make sure it's completely out of sight. When she opens it, the card will dawn upon her and no matter what kind of day she is having (aggravated at the moment from the sun being in her eyes) she will have a reason to smile, that most precious gift of all.

Enjoy your Valentines dinner!
