omg i can't hardly stand it anymore. He started drinkin bad around x-mas time and now it's gotten worse. He has even taken money out of my purse to buy beer if he doesn't have any. He is the most annoying drunk I want to punch him in the face everytime he gets drunk. He thinks it's cool and he keeps telling me he going to stop but everyday it has gotten worse and worse.

yea yea yea everyone will say leave him, its true that is the discision you have to make, but what about finding him some help? What about getting facts that can help that he needs quiting, and if you love him you will help him, not leave him,. and besides its not always easily or the best way out.

i love you =, and il stand by you, i'll help you because when you are weak i have to be strong, i want the best for you, but babe if it insist i dont have a choice but to let go, because as much as i love you, i want whats best for you... but walkin away and leaving him and that situation is noooooo goood. ok

Sorry, no. It's not her job to get him fixed. And he obviously isn't interested in drying out.

And if he isn't interested, it's not going to happen.

She needs to get rid, and maybe that will be his wakeup call.

I'm not sure - was this post just to vent or to look for advice? I'm all for standing by someone and supporting them, but they have to want the help. The bottom line is that you cannot help someone that doesn't want to be helped, no matter how much you love them. If he wants the help and will allow you to help him, GREAT!!! Then this relationship does stand a chance. If you ask him to get help and he continues to act like a jerk, then it's probably time to leave.

true, if you stay and help, it will drag you down until you are drinking also to deal with your unhappiness - because of him! Get rid (easier said than done tho, but better in the long run)
