Does this always mean that you are being considered for the job?

Wow, I still call them incentives - I'd be so worried about the connotations "sexy" would lead to. My present job has many perks - I can work from home when I need, I can make my own schedule (since getting my car I even go in overnight and finish by the morning) but I would laugh my ass off if my boss had called these sexy! (You'd have to know him to understand though.)

ConfusedDater - any news on the job yet?

I was told a decision would be made yesterday when i interview with the boss which was the 2nd interview. So I guess if I don't hear anything today that means I was not selected for the position.

BTW: i wouldn't change a thing about the way I interviewed yesterday so It will just mean someone had a stronger reason why they were the person for the job. Not going to beat myself up over not getting a job

You had a 2nd interview?? That's great - I never called anyone in unless I really really was interested for a 2nd interview. Good Luck, maybe you'll hear something by Friday. I don't know why but I almost always call on Friday; I guess I like to feel that I made someone's weekend.

The first and second interview was the same day. After interviewing with the first lady she then said I want you to meet the boss and left out for a second nd then came back and directed me to her office.

Still a very good sign. You passed the screening and moved on to the person who's opinion really counts.

Like I say, hang on until Friday and hopefully you'll be coming here and telling us when you start!

The only mistake I made was forgetting to ask the Boss for her business card. I asked the first lady for hers and send the thank you letter the same day but I forgot to do that after interviewing with the boss. Damm, lol

Not that crucial.

I agree, not a mistake really. You sent the thank you letter, that'll count more than forgetting a business card. So long you sent the thank you with 24 hours, and you did, you're fine. And sending a thank you really counts as not too many people think/remember to do it - it makes you look so much more professional.

I was ready for this question when the boss asked me-"so what do you know about our company?

My Response-"that it started in 1981 and that there are now branches in Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania."

I should get big points for that-lol
