Hi all,

This is really a tough time for me. My exams are starting over from 10 days from now. The thing is that I may have to leave 2 days after the exam to an another city to continue my studies there as I have applied for a course over there. The course duration is for 2 yrs., then is the main exam that I have to give ( around 2006 ). The tough time is that my GF, whenever she hears this or any other topic related to going gets tear in her eyes and then cant study or control crying. As we have only a little time left, we r not able to talk on the phone ( xms are approaching ) and then only after 2 days I may have to leave... so its really tough for me to explain or talk to her over this in such a short time. I want to explain ( I mean I want to really give her security about this ), but how, she is like crying hearing this topic.. She always me insists me going ( to chase my career ), but half of her is sad, and really sad. I.E we may only be able to talk 1nce in weeks when we use to talk for 5 times a day for about 5 hrs.

It is really tough, at one point I know that chasing my career and achieving it will get me what I want and I will have her, we both know this, we have no problem of insecurity but the thing is that how do I give her type of satisfaction cuz these 2 yrs will b really tough.

Plz Help.......

So you plan on staying together while you're apart?

Just sit her down and talk to her about it. Let her know that everything will be okay and that you'll keep in contact as much as possible. Visit her for say christmas and stuff like that.

2 years is pretty tough, I know I couldn't be away form my girlfriend for that long. But people do survive times like this and if you love eachother this much then... You will make it.

There is no real way to stop her from being sad. You'll both be sad but, things will get easier as time goes by.

Your career is important, its what will decide your future and your life. Best of luck to you my friend....
