1Adam12 Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 Ok since some people didn't read my reply to my last post I'll just start over cause I have some new stuff to add anyway so away we go! It seems that over the last 3 days now I have developed this confidence with talking to girls and I like it a lot! There is a girl in a Mon/Wed class of mine who's very pretty and sits by herself and no one talks to her well not anymore..I started just the other day by cracking a joke to her about the class..she thought it was funny smiled and then after class I happened to be ahead of her and got the door for her..she smiled at me and said thanks and I made another remark about the class which she thought was funny. How do I take this further I am planning on Mon with "By the Way I'm Phillip" and then go from there after I start talking to her..I guess I should just keep chatting with her and get her to talk about herself or what? This confident feeling is great..I just think about it over and over in my head and actually second guess myself and then I'll just bite my tongue and open my mouth.
inu yasha Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 Hi, I think that what you have planned seems to be ok. Confidence is the key, once you've started a converation with her, try and find out what her hobbies are see if you have anything of the same intrests and so on. After getting to know her and you've built up your confidence you could possibly ask her if she fancy hanging out some time or do something on the weekend together. As you've said she's responeded to you well e.g. smiling and laughing at your jokes so i don't see any real problems why this should go off with a bang. Look at her body language when your talking to her e.g. how is her posture when she standing or sitting, constant eye contact and smiling those sort of things. Do it now while you have your confidence at a high otherwise you might miss you chance and make a mess of things (which im sure it won't happen). All the best Inu Yasha
