Interesting article on women's hunger vs men's

The "higher obesity rate" for women is 2% according to the CDC:

"According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 35.3 percent of American women and 33.3 percent of men were considered obese in 2006."

Not exactly a crisis.

I wonder if the director/co-author of the lab doing the study is overweight and is looking for an excuse.

Looking around, I see as many overweight men as women. I'd blame the advertising business (magazines, TV, etc) for providing the 'ideal woman's image'. (Well, 'blame' is too strong...it is actually as much the fault of those that patronize the media outlets that define images.)

That's a pretty insignificant difference...

I'm actually prone to undereating than overeating. I don't know if that has to do with "societal pressure" to be thin, or just a busy schedule that doesn't leave me enough time to cook, or the fact that I need to consume a lot of food just to maintain my weight and not get tired all the time. But I have a very active lifestyle.
