If you make a mistake like I got insecure about being contacted again by someone and they got agitated. I apologized and really want to try a relationship with this person. Is it likely to be forgiven for a mistake early on?

I doubt it can be salvaged unless he has low self esteem and doesn't mind getting dogged on. The only thing you can do is try and say something about "that night was a bad night for me but if you are still up for it, lets do something."

usually early on there are eggshells to be stepped on. i've screwed up a few times, everyone does. i just brush it off if the girl doesn't want to continue because of some small things. oh well. all you can do is apologize. i'd try and see the person again and if they decline ask them why. then explain. but don't just explain 'sorry' for no reason.
