treehouse7888 Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 i got this new cd this weekend and theres only one song i love on it but the problem is i couldnt stop rewinding it to that one song, ive been doing this nonstop since i got it and it broke. now i've been searching on the internet for this song so i can just hear it again. its so frustrating because i can't hear it and i feel bad and have this headache. also my mom said i'm ocd because of it. do you think so? lol Link to comment
karvala Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 That doesn't make you OCD, but it does just suggest an obsessive trait in your personality. But there's nothing wrong with that. I frequently listen to the same piece of music over and over (and I used to be a musician!). It's a way to develop true appreciation, and a good measure of quality; only the best pieces can withstand such repeated listening. Link to comment

I still do it, just not as much as before. Sometimes when a song means something or just has a catchy beat to it, it's really hard not to listen to it over and over again. Link to comment
