aldridal
So, a friend is trying to set me and this girl up, because she thinks we'd be a "cute" couple. So, to make a long story short, this girl and I chatted for a little bit, and I asked her if she'd like to go for coffee sometime. We decided on tomorrow evening. I guess I need some tips here, since it's a been a while for me. How do I go about asking her out again (assuming things go well)? I don't yet have her number, so any good tips on how to ask her? I'm trying to go into this with no expectations and just as a casual thing, but like I said, it's been a while for me and I'm afraid of messing things up. I also haven't completely decided if this is actually a date, or just two people going out for coffee. This is my first blind date type of deal. Suggestions are appreciated! Link to comment
huskiesfan
Here's a good suggestion. If you two seem to hit it off and you have a good time and are interested in making a date in the future, just casually say to her, "I had a good time tonight. I'd love to do it again sometime soon." That way, your not outright saying "can I have your number", or "I wanna date you". Link to comment

I like that, simple, yet straight forward. Link to comment
Daligal83
I think that's a great way to go about it. And if she says yes, say "Can I have your number so I can give you a call?" Link to comment

Haha, I know you wouldn't do that, but you don't have to say them to give off that kind of effect. Yep, light, and simple does the trick. Link to comment
ghost69
how did you chat for a bit without having her number? Link to comment
Scorpion Fury
How about "What's your number?" if she's agreed to meet you tomorrow night, I don't see why she'd have a problem giving it to you. Don't jump the gun on a second date yet, make sure this one goes well. It's a blind date, anything could happen. If you guys click and you get a good vibe just throw it out there, "This is fun, we should do this again." if she gladly accepts, call her in the coming days to set something up. Link to comment
