kindasad
My ex and I broke up in July after a 2 yr. relationship. He broke up with me. He spent August and September telling me he still loved me. Then I asked him to get back together in September and he basically said no, because he started seeing someone long distance. We fought for pretty much all of October and November until finally we decided in November not to ever talk to each other again. He was barely initiating contact anymore anyways at that point. In early January I was out in public nowhere near my ex, I had my back turned to him, he came over tapped me on the back and said "I just wanted to say Hi" then stood there for 30 seconds waiting for me to respond. I was so shocked. I thought we decided not to make any contact with each other at all, I felt like this was opening old wounds. Anyways, I am just wondering why an ex would do this after we decided not to talk to each other anymore. It seems like he is not respecting my boundaries and letting me move on. Link to comment
Anon333
would you feel better if you ad seen him where you were and he just ignored you? That would make you feel worse maybe....I think you both just happened to be at the same place and he was trying to do what was right and say hello....Either way, seeing him would have been difficult... Well we didn't really bump into each oother. I had my back turned to him, didn't notice him at all, and he came up to me and tapped me on the back to say hi. This was after a month or so of fighting and us deciding that it would be best not to stay in touch at all because it was hurting me too much. Link to comment
