This girl that i have known for about 3 years is the one thing that i want in my life. She thinks of me as a best friend and we talk everyday, all day. All her boyfriends have been complete jerks and i know that she would be so happy with me. I know that if we were together we would be the happiest couple in the world. But here is my question, my best friend says i should get let things roll and if it's meant to be then it will happen but i think i should tell her how i feel. If i did that then she would probably think about it and it would possibly go my way but in that time it would feel very awkward around each other. I'm the last person anyone would catch in a useless relationship so i know this would work out but i just don't know how to get to her. Can anyone help?

If you don't tell her how you feel, then how would you know if it's meant to be or not meant to be? True, if it's meant to be then it's meant to be. But if you don't tell her, then nothing will happen.

 

Maybe she's waiting for you to confess your feelings.

Try not to act like the answer bothers you that much if she says she's not interested. This will make things less awkward and also come off as confident and like you care about your friendship which she might find attractive and could potentially change her mind down the road. Either way it will be less awkward.

It sounds like your getting caught on one-itis, which I'm guilty of as well. The best thing I can say is keep your options open. If it doesn't work out with this girl, another girl will be along who might be even better.
