PooF !! and he is gone...if you feel the need to vent...get a voodoo doll and stick some pins in it everytime your mad, but whatever you do never contact him again, and if he calls you pretend you don't know who he is...say like, "sorry I don't know any xxxxxxx by that name, must have the wrong number.

I remember my ex of three years did a very similar thing to me. I blocked his phone number, AIM screen name, and just didn't go on facebook and myspace in a very long time. Start NO CONTACT. Ignore him. He doesn't deserve your friendship or any of your attention. Convince yourself that he doesn't exist or that he never existed.
