KG
ASU with Labs? Got a letter scheduling me for it, but no clue what it is. Link to comment
Loki71
Did you try asking the doctor? Link to comment
jettison
They are obviously keen on checking your Arizona State University blood levels. This can be important when trying to detect probable party levels in migrant frat boys. No, I don't know. I think that's a hospital-specific code because we don't use it where I work as far as I know. Link to comment

DN
Possibly Ambulatory Surgical Unit with labwork? Link to comment
livinginsbi
yeah KG I work in a lab and am not familiar with ASU - probably something that particular hospital refers to and it's very routine. Like at our hospital we have surgical work up with xbb (extra blood bank tube). Or one time a new er doc ordered LFT's.. they called us asking what it meant (because we are supposed to know everything or read the doc's mind -- oops -- was that bitter?) turns out it was his was of saying liver function tests... which we called a hepatic panel. KG
Possibly Ambulatory Surgical Unit with labwork? That's prolly it. I will be Ambulatory, I am having Surgery, and I know I need Labwork before. By Gawd, Watson...well done! LOL! Link to comment
Hope75
I'm a nurse and I don't have a clue, I've never heard of it before! I think DN had the best guess though. Link to comment
