andromeda86
Okay, I have a weird problem. It's winter here, but I am still shaving regularly (legs and armpits). Well. . . I've noticed that the hair under my arms especially has been growing extremely slow. I used to have to shave every couple days. Now, it's been about a week and there is barely any hair. What could this mean?? Link to comment
alli
To me, it would mean saving big $ on laser hair removal. Kidding, I don't really plan on doing that. But I wouldn't mind if my hair growth slowed. Well, everywhere except on my head. Don't question, just go with it. Link to comment

Supa_gurl
I think the more one shaves/waxes, the less hair comes back. I would be thankful too. Link to comment
BeStrongBeHappy
Hair actually grows much faster in Spring and Summer and slower in Fall and winter... just one of those biological imperatives. it's just growing slower because of the time of year. See if it doesn't speed up when the weather gets warmer in the spring/summer. this is useful info because you don't want to get a radical haircut at the end of summer, or you will be stuck with it only growing out slowly all fall and winter if you don't like it. Hmmm? I was always told it was the opposite. Like in animals for instance...their fur grows faster in the winter time to keep warm. Link to comment
BeStrongBeHappy
No, it grows faster in preparation for winter (i.e., it has to already be there when winter hits in order for it to be effective). So it grows more before the season, not during, and sheds at the start of the next season, to begin growing again. Link to comment
